Look down yonder to the large crowd gathered round a stool. A stool where a tall boy stood. A tall boy with silver hair that turned white in the harsh sun, with white irises that stood out like moons against his even paler skin. In his hand a white rose and in the other, a bone staff sharpened to a lethal point. A group of people had seemed to stick around watching this young boy do magic. Yes, magic, this boy was a shaman! "Niveus Rose Change Rutilus Rose." He shouted, positivity hieghtening his voice. He new what he was doing. He didn't have to say those words for him to do a trick, but it entertained the crowd, so what the hay. The rose in his hand turned from white to red in a matter of seconds. The crowd sat wide eyed at him, they dropped money into a small hat set upon the stool. He bowed nodding and laughing as people were so easily amused. The shaman laughed hardily listening through the crowd. He couldn't see, but none of them had yet to notice...

Arien stood in the back, his hood drawn up to cover his face and hide from the crowd. He watched the boy perform his little tricks with skeptical eyes. He was well aware, after meeting Sage that the words he spoke were not necissary. So it was simply to entertain the peasants then? Hmm, how interesting. Then again, he'd never met a shaman so willing to make money by performing parlour tricks to idiots, so what did he know?
He watched the boy with interest, considering whether or not he would talk to him after his wonderful 'performace' was over. Perhaps he would, the kid seemed interesting to say the least, maybe he'd be fun to chat to.

Skylar grinned from ear to ear, throwing the now red rose into the crowd. Girls giggled and cooed, winking at him from afar. Of course he couldn't tell this and instead brought out two small cats. One white, one black. He laid down a box, covering them both out of sight. Then yelling another couple words in Latin he popped off the box to reveal two black ad white cats. The cats did a little bow as they had practiced many times over back at the temple. Skylar bowed as well, tipping his hat as money filled to the brim. "Shows over folks, come back next week for a new trick." He announced waving his hands and smiling. He slipped the stool into a corner, clicking his tongue to call over the cats. They were his familiars, "Nice job you two." he tossed them both a treat. Backing up he hit the bodies of two men. "Sorry fella, shows over." he said smirking. The two grabbed his arms, making him drop his staff. The two cats hissed, fluffing up. "Come on guys. Can't we negotiate?" He smiled sheepishly, deeming him helpless.

Arien smiled when the show was over, hopefully now things would quiet down a little and he could be on his way. Or not. Frowning when he saw the boy back into the two strangers, he took a step forward. From the rough body language, it seemed that they did not know each other, and evidently meant the boy harm. Also, either the kid was a really good actor, or he was completely defenceless against these guys, in which case it seemed Arien was needed.
He lightly fingered the hilt of his sword as he walked over, though he didn't draw it, it wouldn't be needed for something so trivial. "Is there a problem here, gentlemen?" The question itself was directed at the two men, but Arien's eyes remained on Skylar the whole time in case he did something.

Simultaneously, the three snapped their heads around to look at the guy who'd spoken. Seeing as how thing couldn't get worse, Sky spoke up, "Oh I do think so. These two seemed to hav-" The one holding him clamped his mouth shut before he could finish. Skylar shook his head gently, fingers crossed over each other and the cats took action. The two cats morphed to one and it tossed the bone staff into his hands. With swift jerk, Skylar jerked and stabbed the man in the leg, blood splattering the street. The man cursed aloud and let him go, grabbing up his hat, he held his staff, pointing it at the other accomplice. The man growled fiercely, glancing at the other boy who'd spoken earlier before lunging. Sky did nothing, if this guy was brave enough to stand up to two, he cold surely knock out one. The cat jumped onto his shoulder. Sky smiled, stepping back to watch the little scene play out.

[I'm joining... Hope you don't mind. ^3^] Sage was walking along. Her spear tip was covered and she was using it as a walking stick, deciding that she didn't need to use it. When she heard the cheering and aplauding she instantly started to hyperventalate. Her having a fear of people and stuff. She peeked around the corner and saw a guy with silver hair putting on some kind of magic show. He was saying words and turned a white rose red. She could do that... maybe. It might turn a different color other than red, but she could change the color and that was for sure.
The cat thing though was pretty cool. She might be able to do that, but she doubted it. Sage watched as the girls swooned over him and slowly the crowd dispersed except for three people. Sage knew one, Arien, but the other two men were a mystery to her. She was about to go say hi to Arien when suddenly the men grabbed the guy who had preformed the tricks. She gasped. She bit her lip and took one brave step forward to help him, but when Arien was going to help him she decided there was no need and stepped back into her shadow.
When the one man was stabbed in the leg Sage covered her eyes. She hated blood. On all acounts she despised it. She definatly wasn't going over there anymore. Sage bit her lip and didn't dare look to see what was going on now. She didn't want to see anybody else getting stabbed. She debated leaving, but that might make a sound. Instead she stayed still and didn't move. She just hoped that none of the men would see her in her shadow. They might not... She was wearing all black afterall.

[Not at all. You have a SPEAR!? I soo didn't see that coming.]
Arien had by now guessed that the kid in front of him was blind, just something about his movements seemed different, smoother somehow than a person with sight would have been. That and the fact that the kid was a shaman, meant it was relatively safe to use his powers. There had been enough blood shed witht he other thug without him ramming a sword through this loser as well.
Easily side-stepping his pathetic lunge, Arien flicked his fingers and smiled with satisfaction when his hand became engulfed in blue flame. He monitered the heat, making sure it was hot, but not hot enough to leave a severe burn then he grabbed the man as he stumbled, pulling him back. His hand was fisted over the shirt, easily burning it away in a matter of minutes, the flames leapt to the pants and they burned, soon, the man was standing in his underwear, which Arien had luckily spared. Pushing the man forward so he stumbled away, he scolded and bared his teeth, waving the flaming brand of his hand as a warning. "Touch us again and next time I won't stop at your clothes." He said quietly, his voice quivering with power but held back from a shout.
He had unfortunately not noticed Sage, focused as he was on protecting the boy.

(No harm done. And it seems all shamans carry around something sharp. -nod-)
Sky couldn't help but giggle with amusement, running away in nothing but pantiloons and a pair of leathers. "Well done!" He said clapping his hands. "I believe thos two wanted my hat. Poor chap got burned instead!" He grinned merrily. A hand went out and lightly grazed the older guy's arm, "Wonderful anatomy you have as well." That wasn't the reason he'd touched the guy.... "You are a knight are you not? Well sir, my name is Skylar or Sky for short. My accomplice here is Jester." The cat nodded, twitching it's tail. Seeming as they were downwind the two caught the air current disturbance. That, and shamans sort of could feel one anither's presence. After all, they all had lived in the temple at some point. "We have company!" He grinned once more turning in his heels to look up the street at girl in a cloak. But looks can be conceiving. The thug Sky had snagged was wobbling out of sight into the shadows. He hadn't stabbed him enough to cause an amputation, just a nice cut. Not like he had anything else to work with. Skylar waved his arms at the girl, glancing at the guy and back. Sometimes he cursed his disability, he had no idea what these two even looked like. He'd have to ask them later....

Sage kept her hands over her eyes and when she heard Skylar say that they had company she sort of freaked out. Did he mean her? Did he know she was there? She knew she should've ran when she could. She just wanted to act like this had never happen. It would be easier that way. She sighed well now she was here. When Sage peeked through her fingers she saw one of the thugs practically naked and the other limping away. She wondered what had happened. Most likely Arien had burned him or something. Would Arien really burn somebody?
When Sage looked at Skylar she saw he was waving her over. Crap. So he had noticed her. It didn't look like Arien had noticed her, but there was no doubt he would soon. She knew she should have ran when she could have. She sighed. She stayed where she was and hoped that she wasn't going to be spotted.

[You're scaring me now -__-' ]
Arien laughed as he watched him run, thoroughly enjoying himself. Turning to look at the kid when he grazed his arm, Arien cocked his head and grinned. "My name is Arien, it's nice to meet you Sky." Smiling, he scratched Jester's ear softly. "Nice to meet you too Jester."[/b]
He turned, looking at the ground by his feet for Legacy, his german shepherd. Frowning, he sighed and shook his head, she had probably wondered off on another adventure. "Well, I would introduce you to Legacy, my dog but she seems to be missing again."[/b]
As Sky started waving his arms at the apparent 'company', Arien turned confused, wondering who it could be. With a large grin, he quickly spotted Sage, almost invisible against the shadows, as well as Legacy who had apparently sniffed her out earlier and was sitting at Sage's feet. "Sage! I'm sorry, I didn't see you there." Actually, it looked like she didn't want to be spotted, well yea, that seemed about right. Slowly, he walked over and crouched down in front of her, pulling her hands away. "Hey, are you ok?"

(Next shaman who comes will get a nice PM saying how they need a sharp object to stab/throw with)
Jester purred at the touch and Sky shook the feline off, walking after his older companion. He kept a finger on his sleeve to know where to walk to, Barrive was stil a new lace for him. He fovused his senses n the girl, fear radiated off her in tides. It almost scared him, but he knew what was going on and had the sense to know it was alright. He also felt the odd presence of a spear. A look of realixation dawned on him as he figured she was the person from the arena. He gave a nice smile and bent down with Arien, looking uo blankly with white eyes. "You are the girk with the spear!"He said merrily smiling like a goof. Jester sprang after his master, hesitating as he looked at the large beast by the small girl. Skylar reached out a palm, "Mind if I see your hand for a second Sage?" He said. So her name was Sage huh? Interesting...

When Sage heard her name she instantly knew that Arien had spotted her. She bit her tounge a little bit as he pulled her hands away from her face. Was she okay? She was worried, but not injured or hurt. "I'm fine." She managed to say. She was also worrying for the men who had orriginally attacked Skylar. Would that one guy bleed to death? She pushed it from her mind as she heard another voice. A familiar one. Before she hadn't realized it, but now when she looked at the guy closer she saw that the guy was the person who had tried to help her when she was getting used to her spear.
When his voice spoke out she cringed at its happy tone. He had almost been mugged. He should be scared, or mad, or something other than happy. Then Sage was aware of something near her. She quickly turned and saw Legacy. Sage looked at the dog and then heard Skylar's voice again. Her hand? She didn't like people touching her. Expecially strangers. She took a step away from him. Her answer was no, but she just couldn't say it. Why would he want her hand? Was he going to hurt her? She didn't know him and she wasn't sure what his intentions were with her yet.

Arien turned and placed a hand on Skylar's arm, trying to stop him from touching Sage until she had a chance to collect herself a little. He kenw full well that she hated people touching her, he remembered how long it took for Sage to come anywhere near Arien without running.
He smiled softly at Sage and rubbed Legacy's ears. "What are you doing here little one? I'm sorry if I scared you."

What was she doing here? She really had no idea. She had no reason for her being here, she had nothing that might have drawn her here. She guessed that she had really just wanted to see this place. It had seemed interesting to her. She shrugged her petite shoulders as an answer. Sage wrapped her arms around herself to feel more safe. She was surrounded. With a wall to her back, two people, and a dog. She couldn't run and it made her uneasy. What it somebody attacked her? What if they attacked her? Sage closed her eyes and tried to calm herself down.

Skylar shrugged, falling over onto the wall and sitting against it's hard cold material. He faced the ground, twiddling with his staff, feeling it's familiar pattern and texture. "I just need a small touch. If I see you at the temple....I'll be able to know you. But it's alright, I'll eventually get it right." As he finished his sentence, the black and whte cat from the show galloped on up from where it was previously. The little furball began rubbing itself all over everyone's legs. Skylar sighed, "Jester...." He rested his head on his knees waiting and listening. Sky thought it was funny hiw they both had lived in the temple, yet never met once. That even though they had proably at ne point been in the same room but had not had the time to acknowledge the other.
