Camilla glanced out the window of her carriage as it ran down, what seemed to be an endless, country dirt road. Just a few days ago, Camilla had received a letter from a dear friend of hers that a young girl in her town had grown it. The town's doctor was unsure what to do and they believed Camilla could work a miracle, like always. Camilla looked down at her hands that where in soft white gloves. She was wearing a long sleeved, floor length, peach colored dress. Her waist long white hair was pulled up into an elegant bun on top of her head. On her soft pink lips was a more clear pink lipstick that was something one of her town market friends came up with. It gave her young face a more mature look and made her look far older then her true age.
Camilla glanced back out her window as she felt the carriage come to a stop. The sound of the door encouraged her legs to stand and she made her way to the door. Placing her hand gentle into the diver's, she stepped down from the carriage and glanced around. It was a fairly small town, Barrove, but was still thriving. Compared to the capital it was nothing, a walk in the park. Camilla gentle took her took her bag of clothes and medical supplies from the man and waved good-bye. He drove off and Camilla started on her journey. She traveled down a few streets and came to the door of the clinic. Knocking on the door, she waited. When the door opened, she was greeted by a warm hug from her dear childhood friend. Welcomed in, she was offered some tea and was showed to the patent. Camilla knew after 5 minutes, what was plaguing the poor girl.
After twenty minutes of delicate work, Camilla had manged to cure the child of the disease and left her to rest, with her parents at her bed side. Camilla sat down with the doctor and her friend and started to enjoy a delightful cup of tea, that the doctor collected on one of his travels. Then, a sound of the door made very one turn. Camilla spook of getting the door and was already to the door. Opening it she spoke with a friendly, cheerful, voice, "Good Evening."

"Evening miss" Arien tipped the faded hat he wore to cover his strange hair in a friendly gesture, his light eyes were dancing with laughter as he gazed at Camilla.
After his meeting with her back in her hometown, he had come here, to Barrove, hoping to keep his distance. Well, look how well that turned out. After seeing a cariage pull up, Arien had inspected curiously, wondering who could possibly be coming here. Imagine his surprise when she of all people had stepped out, his heart had skipped a beat just looking at her. Clearly, his memory didn't do her justice, she was beautiful.
He knew he shouldn't be here, at this door, surrounded by strangers. He knew, he knew he knew! And yet he was still here, still leaning in the door frame with an easy grin on his face. Of course he would completely understand if Camilla pretended not to know who he was, it was probably their safest bet in this situation anyway. But he couldn't resist the chance at seeing her again, not after he left so quickly last time. He just hoped that she wouldn't be mad or upset at seeing him again.

Camilla's soft hand, that were covered by white cloves, flew to her lips as she gazed up at Arien. She had not seen him for some time, summing he wanted nothing more from her, great distaste of her looks and personality. Camilla thought about him very often. Many times had she glanced out at the street that they had departed on, hoping he would be standing there waiting for her to come out. Many times had her heart sank seeing the street was just the same, with out that bright light. Camilla began to think that she was not beautiful at all, that Arien had found a much more suitable women to be his new interest, but seeing him now gave her hope.
"Arien, my goodness! It's so wonderful to see you again," Camilla said with her always cheerful voice. Glancing over her shoulder she meet her friends gaze and just in time to see her flick her hand. Her friend was in encouraging her to go and speak with the man outside, and that Camilla had her support. Placing a hand on Arien's chest, she gentle pushed him out of the door way and closed the door behind her. Turning to meet his gaze she asked, "So what are you doing in Barrove?"

Arien shivered when he felt her hand on his chest, it felt nice, not that he'd ever say that. Obiediently stepping outside, he beamed happily at Camilla. He ruffled his hair, a little embarressed at her question but decided not to lie to her. "To be honest, I was hiding from you." Quickly realising how that must have sounded, he panicked. Resting his hands on her shoulders gently, he leaned forward and looked her in the eye, hoping he hadn't upset her with careless words. "I mean, well, I didn't think it would be safe for you. Or that you would want to see me. So I just started walking off into the forest, and I ended up here."
Of course he had become convientiently lost in the forest and it had taken him weeks to get out, one of these weeks he had to go completely without food, as Legacy had eaten it all when he wasn't looking. Luckily he stumbled across this small town when he did, or he probably would have starved.

Camilla could feel her heart sink as he spoke those words. Her thoughts seemed to be true, she was everything that others would hate, but then he added more. The more he added the more confused and lost Camilla became. Why would he think it be better if he disappeared from her life? He had saved her life, in a very violent way, but his intention was pure. Camilla could not make since of why he found it better to wonder in the wild to stay away from her.
Camilla placed her hands on his cheeks and gazed at him with worried blue eyes, "Are you alright? Do you need something to eat? I am sure I can make you something." Camilla was growing very worried for his health after she heard he ran of into the forest. The wild was no place to be on your own with out properly preparing for it, which Arien did not. He was so thin, naturally, so thin it looked sickly. "Arien, you must eat. It's not good for your health at all."

He smiled and placed one of his hands over her own, touched by her concern for him. Sighing, he shook his head, he knew that she was confused, she had every right to be. But he couldn't tell her. Or maybe he could? No, he couldn't.
"No really, I'm fine Camilla. You don't have to worry." He smiled again and looked at her with tired blue eyes and shrugged. He'd love to be cared for by her, she was so gentle, so caring. But he didn't need to waste her time or her energy, besides, he was going to have to leave again soon. Maybe he would head east this time. Closing his eyes to let them rest, he leaned against the door frame for support and traced her hand gently under his fingertips, admiring the soft, porcelain skin.

Camilla grew even more worried when he fell to the door frame for support, "Please Arien, rest tonight. I will get you a room, I already have one ready. You can stay there for the night and I will find another place to stay. I will make sure you are well feed and ready to go before you leave." It pained her to those last words, knowing she might never see him again.
One more, her mind thought to the negative. Does he want to get away from me that badly? Am I such a disgusting sight that being in the same town is so horrible? Camilla could careless if he thought that, it would hurt her heart, but it would not change her mind that she wanted him safe and well.

He sighed heavily, she seemed determined to help him, no matter how much he resisted. Smiling, he stood up properly and leaned forward, cupping her cheeks he kissed her forehead, not wanting to have a replay of last time when he properly kissed her. Resting his forehead against her, Arien smiled. "Ok, but just for tonight. And only because you asked."
Frowning slightly, he held her close. He didn't want her to have to sleep somewhere else, it was her room after all. If he took it for himself, he'd feel horrible. "Stay with me tonight ok? You can have the bed and I'll sleep on the floor." A floor was much more comfortable compared to the places where he had been sleeping recently, if he had a blanket, then all the better. But he wasn't going to die without it.

Camilla closed her eyes as he felt his warm tender lips upon her forehead. His pale hands rested against her cheeks. Once again his scent overwhelmed her mind, but not as much as his words. He wanted Camilla to stay in the same room as him! What made it seem worse was he spoke about sleeping on the floor. It was he would need the best night sleep. He need to catch up on sleep and also gain some for the up coming nights ahead.
"No, the patient gets the best care, doctor comes second," Camilla said look up at him. "You will sleep on the bed tonight and I will rest in a chair, I don't mind. I don't think I will be able to sleep tonight." Camilla spoke with a soft voice that masked her fear as she spoke. Camilla never slept well. Her dreams always seemed to go back to the great fires and the sight of her father's ghost was mind blowing. Camilla normally choose not to sleep so to avoid her nightly dreams, but now it would work out.

Arien frowned and shook his head, he was no patient anyhow. She was a lady, she couldn't sleep in a chair, it wasn't right. "I don't like this. You shouldn't have to sleep in a chair, please take the bed."
He bent his knees a little until his face was level with hers. Looking into her pale eyes, he pleaded with her gently, knowing her frail body needed the care. "Please Camilla? For me?"
She was so close, it would be so easy to reach out and kiss her again. He so desperatly wanted to, he wanted to kiss her like he did before. But it was a bad idea, he was already in too deep, plus she probably didn't even want to be kissed by him. Even if they knew each other, he was practically still a complete stranger.

Camilla was thinking of a way to get around his words. She didn't want to lay in the bed wide awake knowing he could be gaining some much needed rest. Besides, how could anyone get some sleep on the floor it was so unbearably uncomfortable. "How about we take turns. You can sleep for the first half of the night, then I will sleep for the rest. Besides, I have some medical records I need to look over, that will be the perfect time to get that done." Camilla felt her case was strong and their was not lop hole for him to sneak through. The only one she knew she could not close was the fact that she was a women and very looked down upon when it came to comparing mean with women.

Arien smiled crookedly. Well she was determined, he would give her that. But she was also delicate and pale, much more fragile than him. He had been trained as a knight, raised as a slave, and grew up on the streets. He knew what it was like to go without food or shelter, he could do it again. But he didn't want to push too hard in case he upset her. "How about we both sleep on the bed together? I'll make sure I'm right on the edge so I wont come anywhere near you. Then you can sleep as well, your medical stuff can wait till morning. How does that sound?"
He knew that this was seriously pushing his boundaries, but he wanted her to sleep, maybe he'd even be able to sleep without nightmares attacking him for once, with her company. "I'll even make you breakfast in the morning." He said quietly with a joking wink.

Camilla was really against the idea of sleeping in the same bed at the same time with him. He had pulled a move once, when he stole her first kiss, she was unsure if he could control himself. This thought did not last long when he brought up his little joke, "I don't think so, breakfast is on me." Camilla nodded in agreement to the plan and said, "Let me grab my things then we cane go to the hotel and settle in." Camilla opened the door to the clinic and disappeared inside. After a few minutes she reappeared with her things and smiled, "Shall we go?"

He smiled and stepped back, waving his arm out in a grand gesture. "Lead the way, my lady." He'd much rather be holding her hand, but he figured that she was already uncomfortable enough and didn't need any extra contact from him. He had absolutely no clue where they were going, but he hoped it wasn't far.
He may be able to walk for now, but he was still swaying on his feet slightly. His black cloak was still tightly wrapped around him and he had taken his hat off, baring his head to the afternoon rays. Thankfully the cloak hid the wound to his mid-section, something that had happened in the forest, which he thought had stopped bleeding a while ago but wasn't too sure. In any case, it would be better if it remained hidded.

Camilla giggled and bowed, "Thank you kind sir." With that, she started to lead. She slipped past the busy crowd and gazed back at Arien to see if he was managing with his strength. Camilla was so happy to see him again, but was really nervous to how this night was going to go. Camilla was thinking hard on her past time with Arien and how he had acted before. He was gentleman, but even they were men who had their times when it came to women. Camilla looked at Arien and pointed to a house like building, "It's right there." (Sorry, it's like 11:17pm here and I am so tired, but I don't want to go to bed.)
